I’m Carolyn, a New Zealand based photographer giving ordinary objects a new lens on life at cj create. 

I’ve always appreciated context and being curious as to how finer details contribute to a bigger picture.  With photography I look to find an interesting and detailed perspective of an object in a way it would not usually be seen. 

I use photography to showcase the patterns, shapes, lines, texture and form of basic ordinary everyday objects so they become an extraordinary object with a meaning.  My objective is that when someone views my images, they enjoy the detail or need time to process and think about what they are looking at.
